We were whittled down to 3 walkers due to two accidents and illness – really bad luck for those concerned and hopefully they recover soon. Our walk across the meadow and along the river was very pleasant if a little muddy. At least the rain held off apart from a little drizzle at the beginning. We rewarded ourselves with a coffee but resisted the delicious cakes. Bobbi then went on to the gym which was seriously impressive!

What an enjoyable evening. I thought Kerrie’s presentation was excellent and I admit to looking through my clothes today! It was great to catch up with so many of you and to welcome all our guests.
We always like a chat so it was good to meet up over wine and nibbles on Wednesday. We also found the time to choose our reading for 2014! If you want to find out more the list is on the subgroups page.
Due to illness and unexpected family happenings we didn’t get a chance to sample the delights of Chinese cooking on Thurs 9 Jan. A pity but we will try again in February!!
