Capital Curios and Freemason’s Grand Lodge 19 March
Highly recommended day out. Interesting facts and places to see with the Capital Curios guide who was a mine of information. The Freemason’s Lodge was an amazing place – lots of art deco.
SFWI Annual Meeting 23 March
An interesting meeting. Well worth travelling to Dorking to hear Michael Portillo speak – no notes and very funny. A real treat. We’ll gloss over the fact that the three of us were talking so much we got on the wrong train and were late!
Another successful quiz evening
The Diamonds’ quiz evening on 21 March was a great success – delicious food, lots of fun and great questions. Our quiz mistress, Judy Campbell, kept us all firmly in our places – even the noisy Diamond Diners!! Thank you to everyone.
