Our April WI meeting was very interesting. Our visitors from HMP/YOI Bronzefield gave an enthralling talk which was followed by a lot of questions! A group from our WI is looking forward to the Bronzefield Bees WI coffee morning on 19 May. Read more in our May newsletter.
FYI there is a public meeting at 7 pm on 27 February in the Function Room, Camberley Theatre. This is to discuss the Camberley 50 minute Rail Campaign to improve rail service to London. It will be chaired by Michael Gove. More info at

The Programme of Events for 2015 is now on the website. Look at the Future Events page to find out more about the exciting and interesting things that have been planned. With the various visits, the quiz in March and all the subgroups it will be a busy year! The Programme of Events calendar will be available at the January meeting.
The Diamonds were out in force again as we had three teams at the Bagshot WI Quiz. Having at least one man for each team was a great help – thank you the husbands. We didn’t come first just a respectable ‘somewhere in the middle’. Is it a sign of getting older when, as well as policemen looking younger, quiz questions seem more difficult?
A delicious ploughman’s and tough questions but we did our best! The 5 Sparklers didn’t sparkle as much as we would like to have done but we came a respectable 6th out of 10 teams.
We enjoyed lots of wonderful music and singing at the Albert Hall on Sunday. They didn’t stint on the spectacle either – lasers, fireworks, guns firing and soldiers in uniform. It was a great afternoon organised by Camberley WI.
Paddington Bear couldn’t have been more pleased than Tara and Pauline when they left clutching jars of marmalade in their sticky hands! Lots of fun………….and we ate cake too!
